It seems nothing can stop Chelsea in their Premier League quest. Having only drawn one game, Jose Mourinho's crew put up a masterful performance against Crystal Palace, and managed to add three more points to their total.
The Blues surprised everyone by not including Diego Costa in today's squad, since it would not be the first time Jose Mourinho misdirected anyone. Then, The Blues managed to surprise Crystal Palace even more when Oscar struck a free kick in Julian Speroni's top corner. Chelsea were handling themselves correctly when Cesar Azpilicueta was sent of after a harsh tackle in the middle of the pitch. Just two minutes later, Damien Delaney saw a second yellow card, and Crystal Palace could not take advantage of the extra man on the pitch.
After the halftime break, Cesc Fabregas increased Chelsea's lead with a right footed strike, leaving no chance for Speroni. Crystal Palace tried hard to come from behind, but could not manage to score until the final seconds of the game, when Fraizer Campbell was able to put the ball past Thibaut Courtois. Chelsea remain undefeated leaders with 22 points, and with Diego Costa tied in the race for the Premier League's top scorer.

Cesc Fabregas now has a scoring rate of .94 non-penalty goals and assists per 90 minutes in his Chelsea career. Solid buy. #cfc

And here it is: a Jose Mourinho team’s completed more than 700 passes with 15 minutes left in a game. End times.
