The Uruguayan will be cleared to play after a four month ban. Suarez has participated in friendly matches with his National Team and with the Barcelona B squad.

One of the most anticipated issues surrounding El Clasico will be without a doubt, Luis Suarez's comeback to active football. This may be the first game for Suarez officially as a Barcelona player, and his coach's words about his shape may reveal he will take part of La Liga's most anticipated battle:

"Luis Suarez is in top shape. He has never been fat, as some of you guys have said. He has been working out just fine and he is fit to play," Luis Enrique told the press.

Having coached Celta before, this will be Luis Enrique's first match as Barcelona's manager, after experiencing El Clasico on both sides. Nevertheless, Barca's boss remembers there is still one more game before playing against their arch-rivals:

"I'm not planning ahead. I just take everything into account before I call up this or that player. I'm trying to focus now on Eibar's potential, and then we will see what will be our take against Real Madrid," the coach added.

Suarez's teammates have also spoken about the striker's situation, especially Andres Iniesta, who leaves the decision to start or bench  Suarez to his coach:

"He has trained very well, he feels very good, and I believe he is ready and fit to play. Then it is up to the coach to decide who plays," Iniesta answered.
