Greece vs Northern Ireland will go live on Tuesday, the 14th of October as the two sides battle it out at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki in a Euro 2016 Qualification match.

Northern Ireland have made a positive start to their Euro 2016 Qualification campaign having won both of their matches so far which has resulted in them being at the top of the table in Group F.

They were against Faroe Islands during their last encounter a match the Green and White Army won by a 2-0 score line courtesy of goals from Gareth McAuley and Kyle Lafferty inside 20 minutes. Their hosts on Tuesday on the other hand are yet to taste victory in the qualification campaign after suffering a defeat in their opening match against Romania but were able to salvage a draw when they faced Finland last time out.

Claudio Ranieri's first venture with an international side has been far from a success story so far with the newly appointed Greece manager yet to register a win with the national side. However Northern Ireland will be out to make life worse for Ranieri, with Michael O'Neill adamant to make it three wins out of three.

"The campaign is about momentum and getting into the group as soon as possible, and that's what we've managed to do," he said.

"Now we go into the next two fixtures with everything to gain. They are going to be very difficult games, away in Greece and away in Romania."

"But equally we've put ourselves in a position with everything to gain based on the first two results."

Greece do have the upper hand in this fixture having beaten Northern Ireland in their last three matches. Their most recent victory against their counterparts on Tuesday will bring back happy memories after Vassilios Tsiartas' winning penalty helped Greece secure a place in the Euro 2004, Greece would then go ahead to win the illustrious crown at the expense of Portugal.

Ranieri will be hoping for a better performance from his charges in their upcoming match and has insisted that it will be a "disaster" should his side fail to qualify for the Euro 2016 Championship to be held in France.

"Our goal is to qualify. I said from the first day, if we don't qualify, it is a disaster - for me, for everybody," he said.

"It was important to get the first point, now we have to think about the next match."
