After their first three qualifying games, Nigeria find themselves in an uncomfortable position that will be familiar to fans of teams like Spain, Italy, and Chelsea. The Super Eagles, who are the reigning AFCON champions could join La Furia Roja, Gli Azzurri, and the Blues as yet another squad to win a major title in one campaign and fail to even get out of the group stages in the next if they don't drastically modify their current run of form.

Indeed, Mohamed Abdallah's side are still in contention to be among the 16 participating in next year's tournament in Morocco as they are only three points behind second-placed Congo.
Fans and observers should expect a spicy clash with both teams clearly pushing for a win to keep their respective campaigns alike, but should this match not go Nigeria's way, no one will be surprised to see Keshi--and likely some players--being told to pack their bags.
