Despite starting off well with his new club, Diego Costa hasn't found success as easy to come by at international level.
The new Chelsea signing has been in absolute devastating form for the Blues so far this season as he has formed a great partnership with fellow newbie Cesc Fabregas.
However, the Brazilian, who switched nationality to his adopted nation to much controversy, was unable thus far to replicate the same showings for la Furia Roja, and pressure was continuing to mount on the former Atletico Madrid hit-man to finally open his account for the European giants.
Well, seven indeed proved to be the lucky number for him as he netted his side's third as Spain sought to recover from their shock 2-1 reversal against Slovakia as they took on Luxembourg on the road.
