Watch Finland vs Greece live online or on television on Saturday, October 11, 2014 as Matchday 2 of the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying campaign is in full swing.

Greece suffered a false start in the Euro 2016 qualifiers under new coach Claudio Ranieri. The Italian watched from the touchline as his players narrowly succumbed to Romania inside an empty stadium in Athens.

Even the dismissal of the visitors’ skipper could not help the hosts to get back into the game after Ciprian Marica broke the deadlock with a 10th-minute penalty. This led Greek defender Kostas Manolas to state in the aftermath:

“It was a bad day at the office, but we will learn from it. We didn't create chances and nothing really worked for us.

“Our qualification is not in danger, though. There is a long way to go and now we need to go to Finland and win. We have proved in the past that, when the going gets tough, we get better.”

Finland won’t be easy opponents. History is on their side as they’ve yet to lose to Greece at home. Records read three wins and two draws out of five home games. They enter Saturday’s European Championship qualifier on top of Group F with three points thanks to their 3-1 defeat of the Faroe Islands.

Northern Ireland and Hungary complete the six-team table.
