The CAN 2015 qualifiers resume with top matches. Among those, don’t miss Guinea vs Ghana. Here is where to watch it live online or on TV on Sunday, October 11, 2014.

While the Commission of Inquiry is on-going in Ghana, the country’s football team is missioned to tone down critics by beating Guinea on Saturday. The state of the sport in the country is still feeling the effects of the catastrophic World Cup campaign in Brazil.

Logically, this increases the Black Stars’ pressure to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in search for their first ever trophy in over three decades. The upcoming clash is a crucial one. Due to fears of the Ebola virus in Guinea, it has to take place in Morocco.

For the Ghanaians, Jonathan Mensah came with a knock but is recovering to get fully fit for the game. Interim manager Maxwell Konadu has two goalkeepers to count on: Stephen Adams and Fatau Dauda, as Sweden-based Adam Kwarasey is reportedly injured. Sannie Daara, the spokesman of the Ghana Football Association, commented on Konadu’s competence and was quoted as saying on Metro TV:

"Giving his experience as a player and as a coach, the titles he's won and his short coaching career, he's the man to take care of the team. To our delight, the boys are responding very well to him."

According to Sannie Daara, Professor Mintah, the Black Stars' psychologist and deputy coach, will act as Konadu's assistant against Guinea.

Ghana kicked off their campaign with a disappointing 1-1 draw against underdogs Uganda in Kumasi. They bounced back in Lome by defeating Togo 3-2 in dramatic fashion. This proved to be Kwesi Appiah’s last match in charge of the Black Stars.

The team has been without a permanent coach since then. The search for a new manager continues as ex-Chelsea boss Avram Grant, Holland’s Patrick Kluivert and former Real Madrid head coach Bernd Schuster all feature on the shortlist.

Ghana's Starting XI: Adams, Afful, Rahman, J.Mensah, Agyeman Badu, A Mohammed, Atsu, Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, Kwadwo Asamoah, Asamoah Gyan.

Guinea's Starting XI: TBA.
