Man United, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool are all in for German star, but one side looks to be leading the race for the 25-year-old attacker

English Premier League side Manchester City have reportedly made an official enquiry into the availability of Borussia Dortmund attacker Marco Reus, who nears closer to a much expected Signal Iduna Park exit.

The 25-year-old star has apparently grown dissatisfied with life at North Rhine-Westphalia, and is stalling over signing a new contract in order to force a move away from his home country of Germany.

Reus has an estimated £20m buy-out clause embedded in his contract with Borussia Dortmund, which will kick in come the new calendar year, meaning a bid in that region could prise the superstar form Jurgen Klopp's hands.

According to the Daily Express, Manuel Pellegrini's side look to beat out competition to the signing and are now looking at making a concrete offer in order to lure Reus to the Etihad Stadium.

As initially reported, Marco Reus is also on the radar of La Liga giants and Champions League holders Real Madrid, but the player himself is heavily favoring a move across the English channel to ply his trade in the Premier League and will snub any offer from Los Blancos.

The former Borussia Mönchengladbach ace, who racked up 23 goals and 18 assists in all competitions last season, is currently sidelined with an ankle injury that he picked up whilst on international duty.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and Manchester United are still tipped as the German attacker's most likely destination, despite interest from the Citizens, with Arsenal and Liverpool also keeping an eye out on Die Borussen player's situation.
