Manchester City continue their quest to reach Chelsea at the top of the Premier League standings. The Citizens had to overcome great defending by Aston Villa to earn three points, keeping them near Jose Mourinho's side.
Manuel Pellegrini's side pushed toward the Villians net, but were not able to score before the first half ended. After the break, Sergio Aguero was close, but could not aim properly, sending his fine strike to one of the posts. The Citizens were struggling to earn chances, not even with Frank Lampard coming off the bench.
Just when the game was heading into the final minutes, Yaya Toure struck the ball hard into Brad Guzan's net to give Manchester City a lead that they would not lose. Furthermore, just six minutes later, Sergio "Kun" Aguero finished a quality pass by James Milner, giving the Blue side three more points.

I think every football fan is happy to see Yaya Toure score today. He has been a shadow of himself since the death of his brother in June.
