The Chilean set a new franchise record and now will be on the hunt for the league's honour, held by legendary Atletico Madrid keeper Abel Resino.

Barcelona needed just two minutes to build on a lead that would prove too much for Rayo Vallecano, even playing at their home field. With goals by Lionel Messi and Neymar, Los Blaugranas kept their undefeated streak for one more week in La Liga, earning 19 out of 21 points they have played for.

The man of the hour was, without a doubt Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo. The former Real Sociedad player established a new franchise record, earning a seventh clean sheet in a row. Bravo's record became official after 20 minutes, and will now look for the all-time league record held by Abel Resino, former coach and keeper for Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona earned their lead after 35 minutes, with Lionel Messi scoring his 249th goal in La Liga, remaining two strikes shy from the all-time record held by Telmo Zarra. One minute later, Munir El Haddadi assisted Neymar made it easier for los Culés with his seventh goal of the season. After the Brazilian's strike, it was all downhill for Barcelona, since Rayo Vallecano saw Jorge Morcillo earn his second yellow card after one hour of playing time. Before the game ended, Mexican wingman Javier Aquino saw a red card on a rather harsh decision by referee Mateu Lahoz.

Claudio Bravo made quite an impact on Barcelona's fans. Have a look at what they said about his record!
