Saturday saw one of the world's most heated and most exciting derbies take place, as English Premier League side Arsenal hosted fellow north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium.
Known as a goal-fest encounter, and famous for it's usually high full-time scorelines, the match ended in a 1-1 draw as both teams walked away with a point after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's 74th minute volley cancelled out Nacer Chadli's 56th minute opener.
However, the Arsenal faithful are not pleased with the outcome of the game after a controversial goal-line call saw what many Gunners fans believed was a goal be denied.
In the 58th minute of the north London derby, with the home side trailing Mauricio Pochettino's side 1-0, German defender Per Mertesacker headed down a Mesut Ozil free-kick towards goal, which was pushed away by a quick reflex save from French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, but still looked to have crossed the line.
Arsene Wenger's men's calls for a goal were denied by English referee Michael Oliver, and as play resumed, goal-line technology, which successfully proved Karim Benzema's goal against Honduras in the 2014 World Cup, showed the official made the right decision in choosing not to award award an equalizer.
NO GOAL: Goal-line technology showed Per Mertsacker's header did not cross the line

However, the frame the goal-line technology used was a mere seconds after the ball came off of Lloris' finger tips, as the ball was presumed to have gone over the line in the moments following that, leaving numerous Arsenal supporters wondering as to whether the wrong frame was used.
Later, on Twitter, a picture emerged of what appears to be the ball over the line, resulting in many taking out their frustration on a decision which robbed the Gunners of bragging rights over their archenemy.
CONTROVERSY: Arsenal fans feel goal-line technology robbed the Gunners of all three points in the game vs Spurs
Why on Per's header did they only show the first replay and not the ball rolling closer towards the goal? Goal line technology fail? #AFC

DEBATE: Did goal-line technology use the wrong frame?
Just seen TV replays of the game, i'm pretty certain goal line technology used the wrong frame for Lloris' 'save' off the line.

It's still annoying that when they used goal line technology yesterday they showed the wrong part because the ball did cross the line after

Arsenal fans cry conspiracy
@BayAreaGooners @NBCSportsSoccer @NBCSports Motd didn't either. Looks like a conspiracy to me!

Had the FA Cup and Community Shield holders been awarded a goal, Arsenal would have clinched a victory in a tie that many expected the Gunners to win. Instead, a draw was all they could produce as doubts surrounding Arsenal's title credentials continue to grow.
