Following rumors about Real Madrid's superstar Cristiano Ronaldo would eventually consider a move back to Manchester United, English fans paid a plane to circle Villarreal's stadium with a banner saying "Come Home Ronaldo".
United Reel, a global Manchester United Supporters Club, made clear their intention of having a plane fly over Villarreal's stadium. Earlier this week, United Reel informed through a press release members from all over the world pitched in to make this happen.
Right now, it is unclear if the player even noticed the banner, but the gesture did not go unnoticed on social media. Check some reactions about this situation, some of them in favor, some of them mocking United fans:

Ronaldo responds to come home banner by bagging Real's second of the afternoon. Think it's time United fans accepted he's never coming back.
