The first half ended with neither team being able to take advantage. Brazilian midfielder Oscar managed to put the game away for Jose Mourinho's team

Chelsea managed to go through the next round with a 2-1 score against Bolton. Things were not easy for Jose Mourinho's men, since Bolton Wanderers never resigned to get the result against the powerful Premier League leaders. With some top players such as Petr Cech and new signing Loic Remy, it looked like Chelsea would have a field day against Bolton, but that forecast was way wrong.

The Blues got the go-ahead goal after 25 minutes, when Kurt Zouma was able to put the ball away. Celebrations went on for only six minutes, when Matthew Mills scored past Petr Cech, giving Bolton a good chance to shock Mourinho's crew.

After the halftime break, Chelsea managed to put themselves back in the lead with a fine strike by Oscar. The Brazilian scored after 55 minutes, making the match even more interesting. Bolton tried to rally back, but Chelsea's defensive staff was able to hold the one-goal lead, ending the visitors' hopes.

Mourinho's men managed to give fans a thrill. Here you have some of their reactions to today's display:
