Club Irapuato launched the proposal through their Twitter feed as a way to thank their fans' commitment.

Mexican fans won't have any complains this weekend if they cheer for Club Irapuato. In an unprecedented story, the club playing at the Ascenso MX league will reimburse their fans if they lose the next match against Correcaminos.

Club Irapuato announced via their Twitter feed the terms and conditions, establishing that to respect their saying, there should be at least 8,000 fans in the stands. The idea comes as a way to motivate the team, currently at 11th place out of 15 teams in Mexico's second division.

The team has been using social media to spread the word about this offer, strongly encouraging their fans to buy a ticket.

Here's the tweet that started it all, plus the following tweets asking fans to join them at the stadium:

"I believe 'La Trinca' will win! If we have 8,000 fans in the stands and we end up losing, then we'll give you your money back at the end of the game"

"Next Saturday against Correcaminos (The Roadrunners), we either win or give your money back. We believe in La Trinca"

"This is not a sale, it's a commitment to our fans. We believe in La Trinca, We either win or give your money back"

Tickets prices go from 5 dollars up to 20 dollars.
