The Mexican striker revealed that every rumor surrounding his future affected his concentration prior to signing with Los Blancos

After playing his first two matches with Real Madrid, Mexican Javier Hernandez revealed during an interview that every rumor surrounding his future affected his relatives and his confidence, being grateful with his new club for signing him:

"Those weeks were tough on me and my family. I think that in the end everybody talked without knowing what was really going on. First they said I wasn't going on Manchester's pre-season, then they went on saying I had been ruled out, finally everyone thought I was going to stay at Manchester and look where I ended up playing. My future is still not clear, but I'll try to learn and enjoy this new opportunity with what I consider to be the best squad in European football," Hernandez said.

Hernandez looked back at his past with Manchester United, pointing out that last year with David Moyes at the helm was the most complicated year of his stint as a Red Devil:

"Last year was very difficult because you feel people don't count on you, they think your skills won't serve the team and they don't change that idea. When you don't feel your coach's trust, you have to get your confidence back from your relatives, because people always show up when things are going great, but when you're down, you're on your own," "Chicharito" added.

Hernandez was thankful to all his new teammates, especially Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been very supportive of him from the start:

"Cristiano has been really great with me. We have shared some thoughts on our past experience with Manchester United, and now that I'm here he gives me advice and has been really helpful, so that I can feel comfortable here," Hernandez concluded.
