Wiese, whose last contract expired in 2013, is considering a change of sport after his time with clubs such as Werder Bremen and Hoffenheim.

After spending last year unemployed, it seems Tim Wiese's days as a goalkeeper might be over. The former German International may end up moving to the United States, having an offer from the WWE, as the player informed:

"I've got an offer from the WWE, they want me to wrestle over there. I'll be there next week with my agent and see what's next. Why should I say "no" right away? Wrestling is very popular over there and I might take a shot at it," Wiese stated.

On how he ended up being sought out by the wrestling company, Wiese recalled his last season at Hoffenheim was really difficult for him:

"I started working out to get criticism out of my head. I wasn't preparing myself to be a body builder or something like that, but pumping iron was the only thing that made me feel good," Wiese told reporters.

If Wiese does switch sports, he will have a special workout at a WWE facility, where he will learn the "secrets" of wrestling.
