The Portuguese coach holds harsh feelings against the Real Madrid striker since 2012; he also refused to take the Portuguese National Team coaching spot

It seems Jose Mourinho holds feelings for everyone he has coached. After one year coaching Chelsea, the Portuguese boss still holds harsh feelings against Cristiano Ronaldo for missing his penalty kick against Bayern Munich, during the UEFA Champions League semifinal match back in 2012.

During an interview, Mou reviewed his four consecutive semifinal draws, in which he has not been able to lead Real Madrid or Chelsea to the Final match. While reviewing the 2012 matchup against Bayern, Mourinho recognized feeling "frustrated" by his star player's miss:

"To lose a semifinal match in a penalty shootout is really frustrating. Especially when your best player, your best penalty taker gets to the penalty spot to fire away the first shot, and misses," Mourinho said, avoiding to mention Cristiano Ronaldo's name.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the first one to miss his shot during that penalty shootout, being followed by Kaká and Sergio Ramos. The game ended with the two sides tied 3-3. Bayern would eventually lose the Final match against Chelsea.

Regarding last year's series against Atletico, Mourinho recognized his team was beaten fair and square by Simeone's squad:

"If you ask me about last year's definition, there is no frustration whatsoever. We were no match for them in the second game, so they deserved to go on," Mourinho added.

Disregarding rumors that he would take Portugal's National Team coaching job, Mou stated that maybe in 2010 he would have accepted, but now he is not interested:

"It's not possible to coach a National Team and a club at the same time, it's not worth talking about it. Besides, it would not be ethical, given there are many good coaches out there looking for a job," Mou concluded.
