Zlatan Ibrahimovic became Sweden’s all-time top-scorer on Thursday after scoring twice in Sweden’s comfortable 2-0 win over Estonia in Stockholm. The 32-year-old reached 50 goals for Sweden.
During the first half, Ibrahimovic scored his 49th and 50th goals with the national team, surpassing Sven Rydell’s record of 49 goals from 1923-1932. It took only 99 appearances for Zlatan to reach this record and he is expected to keep increasing it.
‘Ibra’ scored his 49th goal for Sweden in the third minute of play following a corner kick. After that, the 32-year-old scored his record-breaking 50th goal with a back-heel tap-in in the 24th minute.
