According to reports, the Mexican international and his entourage have been holding talks with the Spanish giants about a move.

If reports are to be believed, Shinji Kagawa isn't the only Manchester United player who has been shipped out during the last moments of the transfer window.

According to Spanish publication Marca, Red Devils striker Chicharito Hernandez is set to sign a loan deal with La Liga giants Real Madrid.

The Mexican had been one of the players on Louis Van Gaal's culling list as he sought to shed some of the deadweight in a quest to overhaul his squad, and as a result, has barely featured under the Dutch tactician.

Despite being linked with Monaco's Radamel Falcao throughout the summer, the 2014 Champions League winners have now, according to other reports opted to make a move for Chicharito instead as they seek to find someone to play as a back-up option to Karim Benzema.

The 10-time UCL winners had already sold another back-up to Italian champions Juventus this summer and hence would like to quickly resolve this as the French international is currently their only out-and-out center forward.

While no official figures have been released, Real Madrid are apparently ready to offer about 20 million eurs for the player, who has struggled at times while at Old Trafford.

More details will surely follow as talks between the two sides progress.
