Despite denying being behind the incriminating tweet, the Colombian ace's latest action sparks rumors of a Santiago Bernabeu switch

After seeing Colombian teammate James Rodriguez and French striker Emmanuel Riviere leave Monaco for Real Madrid and Newcastle respectively, Radamel Falcao is believed to be weighing a Stade Louis II exit.

A year after moving away from La Liga side Atletico Madrid for a reported £50m fee, Falcao is heavily tipped with a return to Spain to join Liga BBVA giants Real Madrid.

Despite interest from the English Premier League, with London side Arsenal eyeing a move for the former Porto striker, the player himself is believed to be keen on a Santiago Bernabeu switch.

The Colombian ace was also dropped from Monaco's clash with Lille in Ligue 1's Matchday 4, which ended in a 1-1 draw, raising question marks regarding Falcao future with last year's French top-flight runners-up.

This belief was further fueled by a tweet made by the 28-year-old hitman on his official Twitter account in which he tweeted "Dream come true #HalaMadrid", before deleting the shortly afterwards.

This was the original tweet by Falcao, which the Colombian ace deleted shortly afterwards

Falcao responded to the controversy, denying posting the tweet, which was retweeted over 2,000 times, arguing it was a "photo montage".

"I have to deny a story about a Tweet I didn't do and which is a photo montage."

With only days remaining in the transfer window, time will tell what the future hold for Los Cafeteros star.
