Torres will replace Italian striker Mario Balotelli, after spending the last three and a half years playing at Stamford Bridge.

After a three and a half year spell with Chelsea, Spanish striker Fernando Torres has ended his run in English football. Pending a physical, the 30-year old player will join AC Milan on a two-year loand deal.

Torres arrived at Stamford Bridge after the Blues paid Liverpool 50 million pounds for "El Niño". Torres had a tough start playing for Chelsea, becoming a favorite target for trolling fans. The Spaniard scored only 45 goals in 172 games. With his departure, Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho may have time to sign another striker.

Torres departs from Stamford Bridge after winning a UEFA Champions League in 2012, a UEFA Europa League in 2013, adding an FA Cup to his tally.

After the news broke, several fans had mixed reactions to Torres' departure.
