The Argentinian with Mexican passport is sure Chiapas won’t change their formation against the current Apertura 2014 leader

With no memory whatsoever that makes him feel nostalgic about his past tenure as part of Club America, Vicente Matías Vuoso spoke about the upcoming match between Las Aguilas and Chiapas.

“It’s just like another game to me. I’m thankful for everything America gave me,  I have to be grateful with all the staff, my friends, but that’s it. You can’t make much more out of it,” the striker said in a press conference.

"It has to be especially motivating to play against the current leader, you have to respect their ongoing streak (five straight wins), but we have to play like we are used to, we must handle America with care if we really want to earn three points, and therefore, give our people of Chiapas a great match” the striker added.

A member of Mexico’s National Team back in 2009, Vuoso encourages the defense not to lose their assignments, so that defeats like the latest against Tijuana don’t happen again.

"We are trying to balance our playing style, if we keep playing the way we have been doing it, our boys in the back won’t be able to defend like they’re supposed to. Coach Bueno wants us to attack our opponent, but we have to find a good way to keep everyone happy,” Vuoso stated.
