After impressing at the World Cup, James Rodriguez gave Real Madrid fans something to cheer about after netting his first goal.

After arriving at Real Madrid from Monaco in a blockbuster £60 million move, Colombian star James Rodriguez will certainly be expected to prove his worth to the team's fans quickly.

And it looks like he has started off right, coming on as a sub and scoring his first goal for his new club to send the home crowd into raptures. Although it would be eventually cancelled out by Raul Garcia's strike, it was also a proud moment for his native Colombia as he became the first national to score for the capital giants in their entire history.
