Antonio Sancho will take control of the Sports Vice Presidency, vacated recently by Mario Trejo.

Last week, Pumas lost their Sports VP (Mario Trejo), their game against Leon in the Apertura tournament, and finally, their coach (Jose Luis Trejo). Although we cannot confirm they will win against Tijuana on Sunday, apparently things are looking better for the team, since they will have a new coach in Guillermo Vazquez, and a new sports VP, the one and only Antonio Sancho.

Guillermo Vazquez will have his second tenure as Pumas head coach, having led UNAM to a championship back in 2011. He left the club two years ago, due to differences with former Sports VP, Mario Trejo. Vazquez took the coaching job at Cruz Azul, taking the team to the final match against America in the Clausura 2013 tournament. America won dramatically after sending the game to overtime, scoring two goals in three minutes. After this failure, Vazquez remained Cruz Azul's top man for one more season, before being dismissed in the Apertura 2013.

According to the press release, Pumas will rely on Antonio Sancho, who has experience off the field with Tigres, where he operates as Sports Manager. Sancho played most of his career with Pumas, before retiring with the squad based in Monterrey.

Vazquez is used to work with young players and with a low budget, and will try to start his new adventure as Pumas' head coach with a win on Sunday.
