Given his blistering form in front of goal last season, Luis Suarez's sale to Barcelona this summer naturally was a huge source of concern for Liverpool fans.
The Uruguayan enjoyed his best form so far of his career to date, with his 31 goals being a huge reason for his side being so close to winning their first Premier League title in decades.
Moreover, the partnership he formed with English striker Daniel Sturridge, whose 21 goals made him the second-highest scorer in the league, had many praising the quality of the duo and were given the nickname "SAS", a play on their last names.
Well, now, with the departure of Suarez, Sturridge now appears to haev a new partner in crime, much to the joy of the team's fans, with Raheem Sterling kicking things off to put Liverpool 1-0 up against Southampton and Sturridge grabbing the game winner to earn them their first win of this season.
