On Thursday, the world of football anxiously awaited the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) concerning Suarez’s appeal against his four-month ban for biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The verdict fell and although the ban stands, it allows the Uruguayan star to take part in training sessions and other non-competitive football activities.
As such, the Blaugrana club will present their mega summer transfer signing on Monday before the start of the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Mexican club Leon. Luis Suarez will also take part in a press conference on Tuesday as he will be presented to the media.
