Warsaw plays host to a pre-season warm-up match between Real Madrid and Fiorentina on Saturday, August 16th.

For the second consecutive season, Fiorentina will be again competing on three fronts--Serie A, the Europa League, and in the Coppa Italia. However, this time, thanks to their fourth-placed finish, as well as Napoli securing a Champions League spot, they won't have to go through the play-offs.

And while the Viola have some concerns on their minds due to the ongoing transfer saga surrounding their Colombian star, Juan Cuadrado, who has been linked to both Barcelona and Manchester United, they will hope to remain focused on what could be their toughest summer match so far.

After a disappointing US tour in which they were unable to win any of their International Champions Cup games, Real Madrid, with their new signings on board and the talismanic Cristiano Ronaldo back in action, clinched their first trophy of the season after defeating fellow La Liga side Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup.

The Viola will represent their third Serie A opponent so far of their pre-season preparations, but unlike their previous meetings with Roma and Inter, they now will have mostly everyone back in the squad, which will obviously make things easier for Carlo Ancelotti and possible cause some worries for his compatriot, Vincenzo Montella on the opposite bench.

The capital club have also had their own transfer sagas this summer, in particular with Diego Lopez finally departing for Milan and most significantly, the future of Angel Di Maria with some of their new arrivals threatening his spot in the starting XI.
