The Mexican striker has refused to train all summer, claiming he wants to play for Greek Olympiakos

Fighting between Alan Pulido and Tigres doesn’t seem to end. The player from Tamaulipas refuses to train, arguing he is not under contract. On the other hand, Tigres have shown a document that links Pulido to the team for two more years, and since the player is determined to leave, the club stipulates that any team that wants him should pay the sum of 10 million dollars.

Ricardo Ferreti, coach for the UANL, spoke harshly about the young player, blaming him for this situation:

“The club wants to settle this for good. If he leaves, so be it, but if he has to come back, we’ll give him a warm welcome. I just hope that he understands that all of his actions are affecting the team, and I hope he doesn’t return crying”, coach Ferreti stated.

“I think he is listening to the wrong kind of people. If he had listened to those who know about this sport and really can help him, maybe we could have worked something out, but if you just stop working ‘because you said so’, then you can’t expect help from anyone”, he added.

Pulido was registered to play for Mexico at the World Cup, but he could not enjoy playing time. Apparently, he has traveled to Greece to end this situation, by urging Olympiakos to pay for his transfer.
