According to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri are considering making a move for the seemingly unsettled Spanish goalkeeper.

With the arrival of Keylor Navas, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti will have a bit of a selection headache on his hands as he decides who will be his no. 1 choice between the posts for the upcoming season.

The Italian already had decided to split the goalkeeping duties between Diego Lopez and Iker Casillas, with one featuring in domestic play whereas the other was utilized in their triumphant Champions League campaign.

And with the Costa Rican international, who was quite impressive during his side's amazing World Cup run coming on board, the fight for who will get the coach's nod has grown even more intense.

As a result, Casillas has been linked with an exit earlier this summer, with Arsenal reportedly interested. But now it's the man that usurped him from his no. 1 spot, Lopez, who could be the one making way.

According to reports from Italy, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani allegedly met with Real Madrid's top hierarchy to sound out a possibility to bring him to San Siro. However, the Rossoneri are strapped for cash and so would be seeking a loan option, which puts them in competition with cash-rich Monaco who not only could purchase him outright but of course offer a more competitive salary.
