According to reports out of Germany, Marco Reus' time at the Signal Iduna Park could be coming to an end, with a switch to the Allianz Arena believed to be on the horizon

Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski broke Borussia Dourtmund fans' hearts by leaving their side for Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich. Now, according to rumors, Marco Reus looks set to follow suit.

Shocking news has recently emerged, courtesy of Germany's premier newspaper Bild (per 101 Great Goals), that Reus has flat out refused a contract extension from his current team Borussio Dortmund.

And not surprisingly, in an uncanny fashion that has Reus appropriately dubbed Mario Gotze II, the 25 year old fan-favorite has instantly landed on Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Man United's wishlist, with a move to the Allianz Arena heavily favored.

As reported by Bild, contract talks between the German forward and Dortmund broke down back in May, and thus the German star could walk out on the 2013 Champions League runners-up come 2015, given his €35m release-clause is triggered.

The 25-year-old, who missed out on the World Cup due to injury, has been a hit with the club ever since arriving at the Signal Iduna Park on a €17.1m fee back in 2012, signing five-year contract, which runs out 2017.

This comes after Die Schwarzgelben boss Jurgen Klopp ruled out a sale of Marco Reus, alongside die Mannschaft center-back Mats Hummels, saying:

"Marco [Reus] and Mats [Hummels] will be playing for us next season. I can assure everybody that there is no sign at all that either of them want to leave."

Expect many top-flight clubs to chase after Marco Reus, with Barcelona, Liverpool, and Arsenal being other clubs with an eye out for the German star.
