Italian publication Tuttosport claims that Milan and Arsenal could enter into a cash + player swap arrangement for their two attackers

It definitely seems that the Italian press are very keen to keep Mario Balotelli's name in the papers, especially considering his future at Milan.

As recently as earlier this week, Tuttosport had conjured up a story with the enigmatic attacker being keen on a move to Juventus, which, although it is the silly season, seems as credible as the often-used, trite expression, "when pigs fly".

The ridiculous connection aside, other sources had hinted that the Rossoneri would be fine with letting him leave for about €20 million and Arsenal have been consistently been a team that they seem keen to link Balotelli with.

Interestingly, yesterday, English publication Metro had claimed that Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell, who has yet to make an appearance for Arsenal due to spending the past couple of seasons on loan, was on Milan's radar.

So, not surprisingly, today's edition of Tuttosport now has combined the two stories into one and are now reporting that the two sides could enter into a player + cash swap arrangement.

Swap deal? Tuttosport claims that the Costa Rican could replace the Italian at San Siro

With Campbell worth about half what Balotelli is priced at-- €10 million--it could represent an opportunity for the Costa Rican star to gain a more permanent home and for the Italian international to make a return to England after seemingly becoming frustrated with life in his native country.
