The Liverpool icon feels that his former club will find it difficult to find a like for like replacement for the prolific Uruguayan attacker.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher feels that the Reds will find it impossible to find a striker that will match the quality of the Barcelona-bound Luis Suarez.

The controversial Uruguayan enjoyed the most prolific season of his career, netting 31 goals and earning himself numerous awards, including the much coveted European Golden Shoe. However, with him donning the Blaugrana kit alongside Lionel Messi for this upcoming season, Brendan Rodgers still feels that his side will be able to cope without him.

Yet, while Carragher has faith in the manager finding a top notch attacker as Suarez's replacement, he highly doubts that whoever comes in will be able to surpass the performances he put in during his time with the club.

In fact, according to him, only two players--the aforementioned Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo--are "maybe [the only ones] to have been above him over the last few years, so the chances of finding someone better are very slim."
