Reports in Italy claim that the former Bianconeri midfielder has handed in his resignation papers at the club at which he won three consecutive Scudetti.

Although the summer transfer market is well known for its surprises, twists, and turns, this recent news by far will be the most shocking for Serie A followers.

According to reports in Italy, Juventus coach Antonio Conte has suddenly chosen to leave after a disagreement with the Bianconeri management over the club's transfer policy, with the organization still linked with a sale of Arturo Vidal, despite Manchester United having reportedly cooled their interest in the Chilean.

This comes as a huge surprise to some, as the tactician recently signed a one year extension keeping him in Turin until the following May.

Conte announces his departure from La Vecchia Signora:

Some key points from his interview include admitting that it was a "mutual decision" to rescind his contract and that he felt that it may become "more difficult to keep winning with Juventus". Regarding his choice,  it was a decision that was not made in haste, but rather one he came to due to "maturing over time", but was quick to downplay any speculation linking him to the Azzurri post, as he would rather focus on "the decision he has just made".

Finally, he naturally thanked everyone involved--players, club staff, executive management, and even the fans--for the roles they all played in helping the side win three straight league titles during his tenure.

And Twitter was quickly buzzing as calcio followers took to social media to air their opinions on the sudden developments:

This one certainly is not unhappy to see him go:

And another decided to find some humor in the whole dramatic situation, poking fun at Conte's lack of hair and subsequent transplant:
