The Bianconeri midfielder has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford, but now looks likely to remain in Turin after the Red Devils opt to look elsewhere.

Despite being linked with a move over the course of this summer, Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal reportedly will not be leaving Juventus in favor of Manchester United.

The 27-year-old Bianconeri star, who signed with the reigning Scudetto champions from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011, has quickly grown into a key part of Antonio Conte's Scudetto-winning side and as a result, has attracted the attention of some of Europe's other big sides.

The Red Devils, who are hoping to turn their fortunes around under new boss Louis van Gaal, had earmarked the combative central midfielder as a good option to freshen thing up. However, according to reports, his asking price, apparently set at £32 million by La Vecchia Signora, is too high for the Premier League powerhouse. This is all despite the Italians still linking him with a move as recently as this past weekend, with Tuttosport claiming that his "physical condition" could be an issue.

Certainly, this is something that will please Bianconeri supporters as the Chilean has quickly grown into a fan favorite for his all-action displays in midfield. As for Red Devils followers, they will surely be a tad disappointed if it turns out they have missed out securing the services of a top-notch player.
