STAMFORD, Conn. – July 9, 2014 – NBCSN’s Major League Soccer coverage this weekend features the San Jose Earthquakes hosting D.C. United Friday, July 11th at 11 p.m. ET.

U.S. Men’s National Team forward Chris Wondolowski returns to the San Jose Earthquakes for Friday’s match. D.C. United sit comfortably atop the Eastern Conference standings, a dramatic improvement from their last-place finish in 2013.

COMMENTATORS: NBC Sports Group’s lead play-by-play announcer John Strong calls the match joined by former USMNT midfielder Kyle Martino and host Russ Thaler.

Strong on San Jose Earthquakes vs D.C. United: "D.C. United have been one of the best stories in MLS this year, turning around from one of the worst seasons in league history in 2013 to leading the Eastern Conference at the halfway mark in 2014. San Jose, meanwhile, know they're already under pressure to get on a run back up the standings, and will hope the return of Chris Wondolowski from the World Cup will be just the spark they need."
