A presumed CR7 fan takes a jab at Messi with a YouTube video as the Barcelona ace gets prepared for La Albiceleste's semi-final game

The Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo debate is back to life as the 2014 World Cup nears its end. The two La Liga superstars are always compared to one another by their loyal fans as the "who's the better player" debate continues.

However, this time, it is not their footballing talent that is heating things up, but their characters as persons instead. A video, presumably made by a Cristiano Ronaldo fan on YouTube, compares the two players. Titled "Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi - WC 2014 - Different Atttudes", it shows two particular moments at the tournament in Brazil involving the Liga BBVA aces with kids in the tunnel before their respective match.

The clip (watch it further below) shows the incident where the Argentine captain failed to shake hands with a young boy who reached out to greet him during La Albiceleste's World Cup opener against Bosnia-Herzegovina, a moment which many claimed was proof that La Pulga is cold-hearted.

On Matchday 3 of the World Cup, meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo was in a similar situation as kids asked for his shirt. He replied that it was impossible to give them his shirt as he was about to get out of the tunnel to face Ghana in a game where Portugal had very slim hopes of qualifying. Instead, Ronaldo gave hugs.

This heart-warming gesture by the Real Madrid superstar, globally perceived as "arrogant", was praised by his fans who emphasized on the fact that Ronaldo still managed to be nice to the kids despite needing to focus deeply on the match against the Ghanaians.
