Shakira will perform at the Maracana during the 2014 World Cup closing ceremony.

Colombian pop-star Shakira will perform her 2014 World Cup song, La La La (Brazil 2014), at the closing ceremony just before the final, on July 13th at the Maracana stadium. The Colombian singer will perform for the third time at a World Cup, as she sang already during the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.

Superstar Carlos Santana and rapper Wyclef Jean will also perform the tournament's official anthem, "Dar Um Jeito" at the legendary Maracana Stadium. During a recent interview, Shakira revealed:

“I'm thrilled to be performing my song La la la (Brazil 2014) at the 2014 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony. I have an intricate relationship with football for obvious reasons, and I truly understand what the World Cup means to so many people, myself included.”
