The Dutch and the Mexicans have provided fans with plenty of entertainment in this World Cup. Unfortunately, one of them will have to leave the tournament on Sunday.

The Netherlands and Mexico have been two positive surprises of this tournament but for very different reasons. The Dutch came in with a team filled with unknown names, names which can only be recognized by Eredivisie fans. The big names such as Arjen Robben, Robin Van Persie, Wesley Sneijder, Nigel de Jong and Dirk Kuyt came as well and were expected to carry the team. Some even thought they might crash out in the first round.

The young generation has instead come through brilliantly. While Van Persie and Robben have freely roamed about, exploited space and scored six goals between them, the likes of Daley Blind and Memphis Depay have also impressed.

The defense does look slightly suspect but the attack flows wonderfully for the Dutch. In Louis Van Gaal, they have a wily coach capable of using a playing style which suits his team the best. The Dutch have used a 3-5-2 and a 5-3-2; they have entertained massively, scoring ten goals in three games.

As for the Mexicans, they came into this World Cup only because the USA did them a favor and beat Panama. Expectations were low. The first game against Cameroon showed Mexico meant business. They dominated the match and were unlucky to win only by a single goal.

Yet, everyone started noticing how good they are only when they drew against Brazil, 0-0. Guillermo Ochoa was the hero on the day but the fact that Julio Cesar had a good game says that Mexico threatened Brazil's goal as well and did not just sit back. Had two of their goals against Cameroon not been disallowed, Mexico might have topped their group ahead of Brazil.

Thus, when the Dutch with their open approach and the Mexicans with their attack-minded approach play each other, there should be fireworks. The two teams are set to produce a wonderful contest. Who will come out on top is doubtful. While most would think the Dutch would come through, the Mexicans have proven their might against tough opposition in the group stages and will surely break down the Dutch defense on a number of occasions. Whether they can contain the Dutch attack though is doubtful.

Who do you think will win this match?
