Arsene Wenger looks ready to move for AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli as the North London side are in search for attacking recruitment

Arsenal finally appear ready to move for AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli.

Arsene Wenger is a known admirer of the Italian attacker and is pondering the idea of bringing him back to the English Premier League.

Reports suggest the long-serving Frenchman is now ready to meet the £25m price tag that was slapped on the former Manchester City man by his current club.

And now, these rumors have been sparked even further after the Rossoneri forward's agent was quoted praising the North London side, refusing to rule out a possible Emirates Stadium switch.

“Arsenal are a fantastic club,' Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola said to Sky Sports. “Will a transfer happen? Anything is possible.”

Goal go as far as to suggest that Wenger, who is currently in Brazil working as a pundit for French TV, is set to meet with the Italian's agent, who is also in the World Cup host nation, on Saturday to discuss a possible move.

Balotelli's Serie A club are looking to balance the books after failing to make any European football and have identified the ex-Inter Milan ace as the player to let go in order to be rid of his wages.

Arsenal's search for a world class goal-scorer continues as Olivier Giroud remains the only senior attacker in the Gunners ranks after failed attempts at signing Higuain and Suarez left the 2014 FA Cup champions empty-handed.

Wenger must react quickly, though, if he wishes to attain Super Mario’s services as mega-rich Ligue 1 side Monaco are also looking into signing the Azzurri attacker.

The London side will first find out what the Italian will cost Le Prof's club but with reports hinting Arsenal's new kit designers PUMA are willing to fund a move for Balotelli, the world looks set to witness a return to England for the 23-year-old.
