During their press-conference, Scolari and Neymar reassured all the Brazilian fans that “the time has arrived” for Brazil to win the World Cup.

In Wednesday’s press-conference ahead of the World Cup opener against Croatia, Felipe Scolari and Neymar Jr. answered some questions pertaining to the impending tournament. Brazil’s coach reassured the hosts:

“To all Brazilians, I want to say that the time has arrived. This is our World Cup.”

When asked about recent tragic accident in which his nephew disappeared, Scolari emotionally answered:

“We have gone through difficult times together, [b]ut we know that life goes and each one has a path to follow. I find my strength form working with these players. Even when we are feeling sad we can forget the sadness and see the beauty around us.”

Former Chelsea manager was then joined by Neymar at the Arena de Sao Paolo, who substantially relaxed the mood in the room. With regards to the World Cup, the 22-year-old replied:

“As Mr Scolari said, the time has arrived. All Brazilians, the whole world is waiting for this moment.”

Fred, Oscar, Hulk, and Neymar would scare the best defenders in the World

When asked about whether or not he would sleep that night, hinting to whether he was going to play against Croatia, Barcelona’s attacker looked at his manager and asked him:

“Professor, am I playing tomorrow? I want to go to sleep relaxed.” Scolari then replied:

“Don’t worry, [y]ou can sleep easy.”

If the forwards are scary, Brazil's back-line is even scarier with Thiago Silva, David Luiz and Dani Alves
