After a mixed season, many people are doubting whether Lionel Messi can perform in Brazil but Iniesta says there is no one like the Argentine

Barcelona ace Lionel Messi heads to Brazil on the back of a roller coaster year with the Blaugrana star reaching news highs and record lows in his 2013-14 season at Camp Nou.

A persisting injury, accompanied by a loss of form, lead to many questioning the Argentina captain's abilities and whether he would be able to lead La Albiceleste to success in football's grand tournament, in Brazil.

However, Messi's Barcelona team-mate, Andres Iniesta, believes there is no one like the Argentine, despite the clouds surrounding the four-time Ballon d'Or winner as he came to the Barcelona all-time leading goal-scorer's defense.

"Barcelona will never have another player like him ever again and he will never find another club like Barcelona," the Azulgrana midfield maestro stated.

"He is a unique talent, everyone knows what he is capable of."

The Spanish midfielder went on to say that Barcelona will find it difficult filling Messi's shoes if the Argentine was to ever walk away

Iniesta was also full of praise for another Argentine star, the man who previously held the Albiceleste number 10 shirt, Boca Juniors veteran Juan Roman Riquelme, admitting the former Villarreal midfielder is a figure that the 30-year-old La Roja ace admires.

"To share a changing room with Riquelme was just an absolute pleasure. You learned every day from playing alongside him," the Spanish playmaker said.
