Supporters of Arsenal wish for Cesc Fabregas to remember his promise in 2011 and avoid joining Chelsea.

According to the latest transfer-rumors, Cesc Fabregas will soon be announced as Chelsea’s newest star, to replace departed Frank Lampard. Not only would this move strengthen Mourinho’s side considerably, it would also upset city rivals Arsenal.

Fabregas, who spent eight years at the Emirates, has always sworn eternal loyalty to the London club that made him who he is today. Back in 2011, when his move to Barca was imminent, the creative midfielder said:

“Apart from Arsenal and Barcelona, I don’t see myself playing for anyone else. No.”

With the Spanish player’s impending move to Arsenal’s city rivals, the Gunners are trying to convince the player to refrain from moving to Stamford Bridge and to remain true to the promise made three years ago.

Fabregas could be Mou's next target-career to destroy, as he did with Kaka, Mata, and Sheva

Unfortunately, loyalty and honesty have gone missing in football’s recent history, which remains governed almost exclusively by money.
