With Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna set for an Emirates Stadium exit, Arsene Wenger has picked up his pursuit of Ligue 1 defender Serge Aurier

There is no denying that Arsenal are in search of right-back in this summer's transfer window.

Reports are heavily favoring an Emirates Stadium departure for the long-serving Frenchman, Bacary Sagna, to join league rival Manchester City, with his contract running out this summer. This has left Arsene Wenger in a frantic search for his ideal replacement.

And though the English Premier League duo Seamus Coleman and Micah Richards have been linked with the North London club, it appears Le Prof prefers to go shopping in France for the rising Ligue 1 star defender, Serge Aurier.

Aurier, who was named in the French top flight's 2013-2014 Team of the Year, is currently preparing for the 2014 World Cup with his national side, Ivory Coast.

Despite the 21-year-old's agent, Stephane Courbis, stating that no deal has been reached between the two parties, and that the Ivorian has received interest from Liverpool as well, the London side have grown confident in landing the Toulouse defender for a fee of £7 million, according to Goal.com.
