Sampdoria vs Lazio Match Preview
Parma gave a huge blow to Sampdoria, vanishing Luigi Del Neri's boys opportunity to reach the fourth position upon their defeat. During the last days it was made clear that Luca Castellazzi will leave the team to join Internazionale, as if the Blucerchiati were not having enough defensive problems. It is yet to see whether Antonio Cassano will return to the starting eleven, as the rumors regarding his relationship with the coach turned out to be false. Having assured he has not been in the field last week due to a "Technical call" it seems Sampdoria is unable to play at their best without Cassano, and upon his return things could turn out to be easier for Luigi Del Nieri and his team.
With only one victory in the last eight matches, it seems Edoardo Reja's team will have to struggle till the last week to retain the category. Just three points above the Relegation line, Lazio had the opportunity to defeat Fiorentina last week, but their lack of concentration played against them, and now the Biancocelesti need a victory to secure they won't be dragged at the bottom fight again.
