Racing Santander vs Almería Match Preview
After being blown away recently by a 4-0 defeat to Barcelona at the Camp Nou, Racing Santander are back home to host Almeria this weekend.
Since January 2010, Racing have won only once at El Sardinero and their last home game ended in a 3-0 defeat against Malaga.
They might not get it any easier against Almeria on Sunday, either.
The visitors will try to build on their last two results as they keep battling for the best in La Liga. Almeria, who defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 last weekend thanks to Pablo Piatti’s late goal, also succeeded in avoiding defeat in their latest away clash as they held Getafe to a 2-2 draw.
Racing Santander are already struggling to distance themselves from the relegation zone.
