Burnley vs Bolton Match Preview

Burnley lost on Sunday to a famously well-rested Wolves squad and now Owen Coyle\'s men must face local rivals Bolton. Lacking the funds to bolster his team in the January transfer window Coyle has revealed interest in bringing Arsenal starlet Jack Wilshere in on loan. His immediate concern, however, must be the fitness of center-backs Steven Caldwell and Clarke Carlisle, both of whom are listed as doubtful for Saturday. With three losses and three draws in their last six matches, the Clarets will need every man on deck for the Bolton game as well as their Monday clash with Everton at Goodison Park.
Bolton were hoping to carry the momentum of their 3-1 win over West Ham into their match against Wigan on Monday. But weather conditions caused that match to be postponed. Bolton are struggling to maintain a lead over fellow relegation zone dwellers West Ham and manager Gary Megson will view the Burnley match, as well as their Tuesday encounter with Hull, as must-win games.
