Analysis

United’s hopes of a treble was ended cruelly at Old Trafford by Real Madrid. Sir Alex Ferguson refused to speak to the press afterwards. Chelsea is involved in European competition but did not do their chances of winning any good this week by losing to Steaua in Bucharest.
