Liverpool travel to Nottinghamshire to take on non-league opponents Mansfield Town at the One Call Stadium on Sunday.
The Reds come into the game having won their last two Premier League outings by a 3-0 score-line, against Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers, and will surely rate their chances of overcoming lowly Mansfield in the FA Cup third round.
Brendan Rodgers, the coach of Liverpool, is expected to rotate his squad for the clash and give some fringe players an opportunity to impress.
According to reports new signing Daniel Sturridge will make his first appearance for the Reds since joining from European champions and Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Sturridge will form an attacking partnership with the outstanding Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan international has notched up four goals in Liverpool's last two games, and has scored a total of 15 Premier League goals for the Reds this season.
Australian goalkeeper Brad Jones missed the win over QPR, but could still earn a place between the posts instead of Pepe Reina.
Youngsters who are likely to be called upon include Oussama Assaidi, who has proven his worth during the few appearances he has made this season.
Mansfield, who sit in ninth position of the Blue Square Premier, will be hoping to cause a major upset against the Reds, but their chances of doing exactly this are rather remote.
If there's one player that could possibly cause problems for Liverpool it would definitely have to be Jake Speight, who has found the back of the net six times in the Blue Square Premier this term.
