Team NewsGuly Do Prado and Jose Fonta are both out for Southampton. Luke Shaw, Nathaniel Clyne and Gaston Ramirez did not take part in the internationals but should be back for this one. Vincent Kompany and Micah Richards are both out for City.
Southampton had a great chance to claim three points last week. However, they conceded a late goal to draw 2-2 against Wigan. City meanwhile picked up a point against Liverpool. Every point that City drops proves to be costly due to Manchester United’s excellent form. Southampton’s defence does not inspire too much confidence. City needs to pick up the full complement of points from this one to remain in the title race.
