France vs USA Match Preview
The USA will face a stiff test of their ability on Friday when they travel to face France in Paris.

France will be looking to extend a 14 month unbeaten streak when they face the USA.
Jurgen Klinsmann has won only one game in charge of the United States, while Laurent Blanc’s France will come into this game looking to extend an unbeaten run that goes back over a year.
Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri is sidelined with injury for France, while Barcelona defender Eric Abidal has also withdrawn from the squad.
Yohan Cabeye, Loic Remy and Chelsea winger Florent Malouda are injury doubts for the French and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.
Striker Karim Benzema has scored nine goals so far this season for Real Madrid, and is expected to lead the France attack in this game.
France have already secured qualification for Euro 2012, but Blanc has insisted that his team will be taking this game very seriously.
“You can get nice surprises in matches with nothing at stake,” Blanc told the official FIFA website. “I’m not expecting to see the fragility we showed against Bosnia when we play the United States. We have to put everything into this match.”
The USA will be without star striker Landon Donovan, who has chosen to remain in California and prepare for the MLS Cup final this weekend.
“Landon expressed his desire to stay in Los Angeles,” USA coach Klinsmann told the official FIFA website. “While my preference was to have Landon with us for this important match, I respect his decision.”
Fulham striker Clint Dempsey and Jozy Altidore will likely lead the USA attack in the absence of Donovan, while veteran Tim Howard will start in goal.
The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2 at 3pm Eastern Time.
